Neoregelia smithii
 Size: Approximately 20cm x 15cm x 15cm
 
 A small neoregelia native to Brazil.
 It's a species similar to Tristis, but since Tristis is a minor species, let's just say that Tristis is similar to Smithy.
 The slightly pale green leaves are densely populated with purple mottled patterns.
 When cultivated in strong light, there are more mottled areas and the green areas are almost covered.
 At the time of flowering, the center becomes white and the purple mottled pattern is even more prominent.
