アルゼンチン原産のチランジア。
乾燥にも強く非常に丈夫で栽培しやすく、しかも花付もいいという優等生です。
ピンクの花苞にイエローに近いクリーム色の三弁花を咲かせます。
硬質で先の尖った葉を展開する本種からは想像できないくらいかわいらしい花に癒されますよ。
ギャップ萌えってやつですね！
