Tillandsia x guelzii
Size: Approximately 12cm x 8cm x 12cm
Tillandsia is distributed in the mountains near an altitude of 1200 m in Argentina.
Argentina seems to be cool, but it is home to Jujuy in the northern part of Argentina, and it seems to be a region where it gets hot to some extent in summer.
There are many mysteries in terms of classification, and it has been pointed out that it may be the same species as Pukaraensis.
And now it is treated as a natural hybrid.
In the filter of this site, it is included in both the original species and the hybrid species (laugh)
The flowers come from red inflorescences to very pale pink, near-white flowers.
It seems that white flowers may bloom depending on the environment and individual differences.
It is a compact rosette-shaped grass, and is a beautiful species that develops dark green leaves that shine in silver gray.
It's interesting that the classification is still being discussed more than 20 years after its discovery, which is romantic (* ´ω ` *).
Of course, the stock itself is also a very beautiful type ♪
